Currently, Akanksha reaches out to the 13000+ children through its 26 schools in Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur.
Position: Pre-Primary Teacher.
Pay: ₹18,000 - ₹20,000 per month
Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the Akanksha curriculum using effective teaching methods
- Plan and implement engaging lessons tailored to students needs
- Design assessments to track and evaluate student progress
- Use varied teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Build collaborative relationships with students, parents, the community, and school team
- Set clear and high expectations for students
- Maintain a visually appealing and organized classroom environment
- Participate actively in professional development opportunities and network events
- Attend and contribute to all school trainings and meetings
- Complete professional obligations efficiently and responsibly
- Engage in extra-curricular and celebratory school activities
- Make occasional community visits to strengthen parent connections
Experience:
- Prior teaching experience is preferred, though freshers will also be considered
