Teacher Librarian

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Teacher Librarian located in Hyderabad. The Teacher Librarian will be responsible for overseeing library operations, managing resources, and creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities include curating and organizing library materials, delivering library instruction sessions, assisting with research and information literacy, and ensuring effective library management. The role involves supporting curriculum goals and fostering a culture of inquiry and lifelong learning.

• Experience in Library Services, including resource curation and supporting users in accessing materials and information
• Expertise in Library Science and Metadata to organize and classify information accurately
• Skills in Library Management, including resource acquisition, catalog maintenance, and fostering a welcoming library environment
• Ability to deliver Library Instruction focused on information literacy, research methodologies, and fostering student engagement
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and a passion for inspiring learners
• Familiarity with International Baccalaureate (IB) programs and inquiry-based learning is a plus
• Master's degree in Library Science, Information Studies, or a related field
