Key Responsibilities
- Teach English to two batches of children (ages 412) using our simple curriculum (phonics, reading, vocabulary).
- Prepare basic worksheets and conduct fun, play-based learning activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline, take attendance, and track each child's progress.
- Support volunteers during visits and maintain a positive, safe learning environment.
- Communicate with the Just.Play team for planning, updates, and training sessions.
About Company: Just.Play Foundation is a Sport-for-Development non-profit working with children from migrant and marginalized communities in Kerala and Bengaluru. We combine quality education, gender equality, and mixed-gender sports (Rugby & Ultimate Frisbee) to help children build confidence, communication skills, and academic foundations.
Our Bengaluru centre, located in the Kasavanahalli migrant community, provides daily academic classes and life-skill based sports sessions for children aged 4-16. We focus on early English literacy, playful learning, and youth leadership.
We work closely with families, volunteers, and community partners to create a safe, joyful learning environment where children can learn, grow, and lead.
