Job Description

Job Position: Part-Time Teacher for Underprivileged Girls

Organization: Aahan Foundation For Social Change

Location: Gejha, Sector 93, Noida

Class Timings:

3 days a week:

  • Batch 1: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Batch 2: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Session Type: On-site

Subjects:

  • English
  • Guidance on other subjects

Compensation: ₹10,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching:

  - Conduct in-person classes for two batches of students, focusing on English.

  - Employ interactive and engaging teaching methods to facilitate learning.

2. Assessments:

  - Design and implement baseline and endline tests to evaluate students progress.

  - Conduct regular assessments to monitor and track student performance.

3. Educational Tools:

  - Utilize educational tools and resources such as Khan Academy to enhance the learning experience.

  - Integrate technology into teaching methods where applicable.

4. Progress Reports:

  - Prepare detailed progress reports for each student, highlighting their strengths and areas for improvement.

  - Communicate progress and any concerns with parents/guardians and the Aahan Foundation team.

5. Team Collaboration:

  - Work closely with the Aahan Foundation team to measure and analyse learning outcomes.

  - Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Educational Background: B.Ed. degree in Education or relevant field is preferred.

- Experience: Prior experience in teaching or working with underprivileged children is highly desirable.

- Skills: Strong communication skills, proficiency in English and Hindi, and the ability to create and follow structured lesson plans.

- Passion: A genuine passion for teaching and making a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged girls.
