Job Description

  • Analyse defects, rework, line losses, and torque escapes; perform RCA (5-Why, 8D) and implement countermeasures.
  • Drive Kaizen, poka-yoke, and standardization to improve right-first-time assembly.
  • Optimize cycle time, line balance, and ergonomics using method studies and workstation improvements.
  • Support PR, trials, ramp-up, and SOP stabilization by closing process and facility gaps.
  • Monitor and improve quality KPIs (DPV, fit/finish, noise risk, fastening quality).
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, UO, and Facility teams for implementation and sustainment.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety norms, and audit requirements.
  • Track CAMI actions, benefits, and sustainability; report progress to management.
  • Update and standardize SOPs, WIs, PFMEA, and Control Plans based on improvements.
  • Experience - 3 to 7 Years
  • Location - Mahindra city/Oragadam
