Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. User Support & Ticket Management

  • Provide L2/L3 support for Teamcenter Active Workspace-related issues.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incident tickets and service requests within defined SLAs.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and drive preventive measures.
  • Work closely with business users to understand and resolve functional and technical issues.

2. Workflow & Process Support

  • Support and troubleshoot Teamcenter workflows (EPM, BMIDE workflows).
  • Configure and maintain workflow templates as per business needs.
  • Assist users in workflow execution and handle workflow-related escalations.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to improve workflow efficiency.

3. DevOps & Environment Management

  • Manage Teamcenter environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD).
  • Deploy code, patches, and configurations using DevOps pipelines/tools.
  • Support CI/CD processes for Teamcenter customization and Active Workspace deployments.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.

4. Testing & Validation

  • Participate in functional testing, regression testing, and UAT support.
  • Validate enhancements, bug fixes, and system upgrades.
  • Create and maintain test cases and test documentation.
  • Coordinate with QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.

5. Upgrade & Migration Support

  • Provide support for Teamcenter upgrades, migrations, and patching activities.
  • Analyze impact of upgrades on customizations and configurations.
  • Perform post-upgrade validation and issue resolution.
  • Ensure system compatibility with Active Workspace versions.

6. Technical Support & Development

  • Troubleshoot issues related to:
  • Active Workspace (AWC)
  • BMIDE configurations
  • ITK / SOA services
  • Server-side and client-side customizations
  • Work on minor enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.

Required Skills & Competencies

Core Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in Teamcenter Unified Architecture (TcUA)
  • Hands-on experience with Active Workspace (AWC customization & deployment)
  • Experience in:
  • BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE)
  • ITK / SOA / REST Services
  • Workflow design & administration
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter installation, configuration, and upgrade process

DevOps & Tools

  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with tools such as:
  • Git / SVN
  • Jenkins / Azure DevOps
  • Experience in deployment automation and environment management

Database & Infrastructure

  • Knowledge of Oracle / SQL Server databases
  • Understanding of Teamcenter architecture (2-tier / 4-tier)
  • Experience with Linux/Windows server environments
