JobSummary:The primary purpose of this role is to automate processes for the Point-of-Sale Indirect Tax Team, with the opportunity to support the broader Indirect Tax Team as needed. Using Alteryx, key responsibilities include: Item coding and categorization Monthly updates to the tax engine data Streamlining workflows for greater efficiency Developing and implementing key performance dashboards Leveraging advanced data lake capabilities to drive data-driven decisions and optimize processes Proactively supporting team initiatives, embracing new challenges, and contributing to the success of projects

Mode of Work: Full time

KeyResponsibilities:

• Automate and streamline item taxability assignment processes.
  
• Ensure accurate and compliant POS taxation across all U.S. stores.
  
• Collaborate with Tax Business Teams, IT Tax Teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  
• Analyze and resolve data-related issues using Alteryx, SQL, and Power Automate.
  
• Perform process analysis and identify opportunities for workflow automation.
  
• Develop, enhance, and maintain advanced Alteryx workflows.
  
• Manage large datasets and ensure data accuracy for monthly tax engine updates.
  
• Develop dashboards and reporting solutions to support tax analytics.
  
• Maintain clear documentation and audit trails for all automated processes.
  
• Be available for in-office work during defined shift hours.
  
  

Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in Alteryx, Power Automate, and SQL.
  
• 35 years of experience in accounting, tax, finance, or related areas OR
  Bachelor's degree in Technology with 23 years relevant tax/finance/automation experience.
• Hands-on experience in process automation (12 years).
  
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access).
  
• Ability to analyze large datasets and troubleshoot complex data issues.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  
  

Good To Have Skills:

• Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools.
  
• Understanding of U.S. Indirect Tax processes and POS taxation.
  
• Knowledge of data lake ecosystems and cloud-based data solutions.
  
• Experience in developing dashboards for KPI tracking and analytics.
  
• Exposure to workflow automation tools beyond Alteryx and Power Automate.
  
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and organizational needs.
  
• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
