Job title : P2C Advanced Analyst

Job purpose

The P2C Staff is responsible for supporting day-to-day milestone-based billing and contract management activities to ensure accurate and timely invoices, contract administration, and compliance with client agreements. The role involves maintaining contract and customer master data, validating billing milestones, supporting revenue recognition requirements, performing reconciliations, resolving billing exceptions, and ensuring adherence to established processes, controls, and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute milestone-based billing activities and ensure timely and accurate invoice generation.
• Validate billing milestones, contract terms, and supporting documentation before billing.
• Maintain customer and contract master data with a high level of accuracy and completeness.
• Support contract setup, amendments, renewals, and termination processes.
• Perform billing reconciliations and investigate billing discrepancies and exceptions.
• Support revenue recognition processes in accordance with contractual requirements and accounting standards.
• Monitor contract milestones and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Prepare operational reports, KPI trackers, and billing-related analyses.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, compliance requirements, and audit standards.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities related to billing and contract management.

• Understanding of billing schedules and triggers
• Contract setup, maintenance, and updates
• Review of contract terms, SOWs, and amendments
• Customer and contract master data maintenance
• Understanding of end-to-end O2C/P2C processes
• Awareness of finance and project operation dependencies
• Advanced skills in Excel, reporting, KPI tracking, and process improvement initiatives.

Required Technical skills

• Extensive experience in Billing
• Milestone Billing, Contract Billing or Project Billing
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and other applicable standards

Qualifications & Experience

• BCOM/ MCom / MBA- 10 to 1 to 3 years +years of relevant domain experience.
• Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA)/Cost Accountant (CWA)/Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 2+ yrs of post qualification work experience in P2C.

This role may require extended working hours during peak reporting periods and may involve occasional travel. May also be required to work in shifts that has few hours of overlap with Americas and Europe business hours to interact with EY and client stakeholders.
