Add-wise Tax LLC focuses on international tax matters, including advising non-resident founders, owners, and shareholders on optimal entity structures and establishing US businesses in tax-favorable states. The team works with a wide range of US tax forms, such as Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065, 1040/1040NR, 1120-F, 1042-S, 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, and complex Schedule K-3, as well as IRS resolution and controversy cases. This expertise offers team members exposure to sophisticated, cross-border tax issues in a dynamic professional environment.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tax Preparer role based in Gurugram. The Tax Preparer will assist in preparing and reviewing US and international tax returns for individuals and entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. Daily responsibilities include gathering and organizing client financial data, analyzing supporting documents, and preparing work papers and schedules for various tax filings. The role involves collaborating with senior tax professional on complex cases, assisting with IRS correspondence and notices, and maintaining clear documentation in firm systems. The Tax Preparer will also support continuous process improvements, uphold confidentiality and data security, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with tax law changes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with CPA firm or offshore support.
  • Ability to perform accurate Tax Preparation for individuals and business entities, including handling multiple returns and deadlines.
  • Capability to analyze and interpret Financial Statements to support tax calculations, reconciliations, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of Tax concepts and principles, including exposure to international and cross-border tax issues.
  • Knowledge of Tax Law and regulations, with willingness to research and apply relevant rules to complex client situations.
  • Foundational Finance skills to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and support advisory recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, EA, CA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and Excel; familiarity with US tax forms and schedules is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt
