Tax Manager

Position Title: Manager – Tax

Reporting: Head - Taxation

Location: Bangalore

About the Position:

We are looking for a Manager who has expert knowledge and understanding of the entire gamut of Indirect and Direct Taxation and is good at business partnering to achieve business goals by supporting Quess Corp's businesses in India.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting replies/responding to the SCN, notices issued by GST authorities for Digitide Group from time to time
• Communication with Vendors and Customers on GST and discussing the tax issues
• Building internal controls on accounting wrt GST
• Verifying the calculations and GST payments
• Preparing data and documents for filing GST appeals
• Verifying all Monthly and Annual GST Returns before filing
• GST advisory
• Conduct research on corporate tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Support senior team members in tax planning and advisory projects.
• Assist in responding to tax notices, assessments, and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and timely advice
• Preparation of appeal papers for CIT(A)/DRP/ITAT & assist in representation before appellate authorities

Qualification:

• CA with 5 to 6 years of experience
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Critical thinking & problem-solving attitude
• Result orientation and ability to meet and establish deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, good communication skills (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills. Team player
