Job Role:
Manager Tax will be responsible for managing the organization's direct and indirect taxation matters, ensuring full compliance with applicable tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. The role will also support tax planning, tax reporting, and liaison with tax authorities to ensure efficient tax management for the NBFC business.
Key Responsibilities :
Direct Taxation
- Manage corporate income tax compliance including advance tax computation and return filing.
- Prepare and review tax provisions and deferred tax calculations.
- Handle tax assessments, scrutiny cases, and appeals with authorities.
- Coordinate with external tax consultants and auditors.
Indirect Taxation
- Manage GST compliance, return filings, and reconciliations.
- Ensure proper input tax credit utilization.
- Handle GST audits, notices, and departmental queries.
Tax Planning & Advisory
- Provide tax advisory support for new financial products and transactions.
- Identify opportunities for tax optimization and cost efficiency.
- Track changes in tax laws and assess impact on business.
Regulatory & Financial Reporting
- Ensure compliance with NBFC regulatory guidelines.
- Support statutory audit, internal audit, and regulatory inspections.
- Prepare tax-related disclosures in financial statements.
Withholding Tax (TDS/TCS)
- Manage TDS/TCS deduction, deposit, and return filing.
- Reconcile TDS ledgers and manage departmental notices.
Transfer Pricing
- Manage transfer pricing compliance for group entity transactions.
- Coordinate TP documentation and Form 3CEB filings.
- Support transfer pricing audits.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
- Alternatively MBA Finance with strong taxation experience

- 610 years of taxation experience, preferably in:
- NBFC
- Financial Services
- Captive Finance Companies
