Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical
Tax Analyst to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Indian corporate taxation, tax compliance, and financial reporting. Experience in an accounting firm or a multinational company (MNC) environment will be a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review direct and indirect tax computations and filings.
- Support corporate tax compliance in line with Indian tax regulations.
- Assist with GST, TDS, advance tax, and income tax return processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external tax consultants.
- Ensure timely tax payments and adherence to statutory deadlines.
- Support tax audits, assessments, and handling notices from tax authorities.
- Maintain accurate tax documentation and records.
- Track and analyze updates in Indian tax laws and assess business impact.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant taxation experience (accounting firm/MNC preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Indian corporate taxation and compliance.
- Working understanding of GST, TDS, and income tax processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA is an added advantage.
- Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
