Tanium Tool Administrator

Job Description:

• The Tanium Tool Administrator will be responsible for day to day administration configuration monitoring and operational support of the Tanium platform across enterprise endpoints
• The role will support endpoint visibility asset inventory software deployment patch management vulnerability remediation support compliance reporting client health monitoring and integration with endpoint management and ITSM platforms
• The candidate will work closely with endpoint security service desk infrastructure and application teams to ensure reliable and secure endpoint operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support the Tanium platform for endpoint visibility asset discovery patching software deployment compliance checks and operational reporting
• Manage Tanium modules such as Interact Discover Asset Deploy Patch Comply Trends Client Management and Reporting based on customer environment and scope
• Monitor Tanium client health endpoint coverage sensor execution module performance action status and platform availability
• Create test schedule and monitor Tanium actions for software deployment patching configuration changes inventory collection and remediation activities
• Support patch management activities including patch assessment deployment planning maintenance windows phased rollout failure analysis and compliance reporting
• Assist with vulnerability remediation by identifying impacted endpoints coordinating remediation actions validating fixes and sharing compliance evidence with security teams
• Develop and maintain Tanium sensors packages saved questions dashboards reports action groups targeting rules and operational playbooks
• Troubleshoot Tanium client communication issues deployment failures patch installation errors missing inventory data endpoint grouping issues and reporting discrepancies
• Coordinate with SCCM Intune Jamf ServiceNow security tools and infrastructure teams for integrated endpoint management and incident resolution
• Maintain access controls RBAC platform hygiene change records audit evidence operational logs and documentation in line with enterprise governance standards
• Prepare regular reports on endpoint inventory patch compliance software deployment status client health vulnerability remediation progress and operational risks
• Participate in change management incident management problem management root cause analysis and continual service improvement initiatives
• Required Skills and Experience
• Strong hands on experience in Tanium administration endpoint inventory patch deployment software distribution compliance reporting and client troubleshooting

Additional Responsibilities:

• Tanium Certified Operator Tanium Certified Administrator or relevant Tanium training certification
• Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate MD 102
• ITIL Foundation certification
• Security vulnerability management endpoint management or automation related certifications will be an advantage
