Tanium & Patch Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Tanium & Patch Automation Engineer with strong expertise in patch automation, vulnerability management, and endpoint management. The candidate will be responsible for automating and managing patch deployment across Windows and Citrix environments, ensuring high patch compliance, vulnerability remediation, and minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute patch deployment using Tanium across enterprise Windows and server environments.
• Develop and implement patch/process automation to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Manage vulnerability remediation using tools such as Qualys.
• Perform patch validation, server health checks, and post-patch verification.
• Support patching activities across Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments.
• Coordinate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure patching does not impact critical business services.
• Conduct Non-Production testing and validation before Production rollout.
• Manage patch rollback procedures in case of failures or service impact.
• Follow ITIL Change Management processes for patching and infrastructure changes.
• Monitor patch compliance and vulnerability remediation rates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve patch-related issues with minimal business disruption.
• Automate patching and related operational activities wherever possible.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in patch management, endpoint management, or infrastructure operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tanium for patch deployment and endpoint management.
• Strong expertise in Patch Automation / Process Automation.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools, particularly Qualys.
• Basic knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), including:
• Delivery Controllers
• StoreFront
• Citrix Gateway
• VDA Servers
• Good understanding of patch validation, server health checks, and rollback procedures.
• Knowledge of ITIL Change Management processes.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong and demonstrable ability to automate patching and related infrastructure activities.
