Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tandoor Second Commis, located at The Fern Residency Bhuj. The role involves assisting with daily food preparation in the tandoor section, ensuring high standards of hygiene are maintained. Responsibilities also include preparing tandoor dishes to culinary standards, assisting the team with cooking tasks, and maintaining effective communication with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Solid knowledge and skills in Food Preparation and Cooking
- Proficient in Culinary Skills with a focus on tandoor techniques
- Awareness of Hygiene and food safety standards
- Strong Communication skills to coordinate within the kitchen team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen or hospitality setting is an advantage
- Formal culinary training is preferred but not mandatory
