Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time Tandoor Commi I role at The Fern Hotels & Resorts, located in Junagadh. The Tandoor Commi I will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality tandoor dishes, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are followed, and assisting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations. The role includes maintaining a clean and organized workstation, helping with inventory management, and contributing to a seamless kitchen workflow to deliver an excellent dining experience for guests.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Food Preparation, Cooking, and exceptional Culinary Skills
- Strong knowledge and adherence to Hygiene standards and food safety practices
- Good Communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and follow instructions
- Certification in culinary arts, professional cooking, or relevant training is a plus
- Prior experience in tandoor cooking or in a similar role is highly desirable
