I'm building Dum Delicacies, an authentic Mughlai cloud kitchen focused on traditional dum cooking, strong kitchen processes, and quality-first food. We are currently hiring for:

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Tandoor Chef who understands consistency, hygiene, and disciplined execution in a startup cloud-kitchen environment. This role requires comfort with structured cooking, adherence to in-house recipes, and close coordination with the founders and kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manage the tandoor for breads and tandoor-based items
• Maintain taste consistency and cooking standards
• Follow defined in-house recipes, preparation methods, and timings
• Ensure strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety practices
• Coordinate closely with founders and the kitchen team during daily operations.

What We Are Looking For

• Prior hands-on experience as a Tandoor Chef
• Strong focus on cleanliness, hygiene, and process discipline
• Reliability, punctuality, and seriousness towards work
• Willingness to grow with an early-stage food business
• Two-wheeler or personal vehicle preferred but optional (not mandatory)

Working Environment

This is an early-stage startup cloud kitchen. Flexibility, teamwork, and responsibility are important, especially during peak operations. We value people who take ownership and respect process-driven cooking.

Accommodation (Optional)

Basic accommodation can be provided at the kitchen location during the initial phase, if required. This includes:

• Resting space at night
• Washroom access
• Daily food shared with the founders

This arrangement is completely optional. Candidates may also arrange their own accommodation nearby.

Compensation & Growth

• Salary: As per market standards (based on experience)
• As the business grows, select team members showing strong commitment, consistency, and an ownership mindset may be considered for deeper long-term association.
• Such decisions will be entirely founder-driven.
