Role Description The AI Video Editor is a full-time, on-site role based in Puducherry, India. This role involves editing and producing video content using AI-assisted tools, including tasks such as cutting and assembling footage, adding transitions and effects, and refining audio and visuals to align with brand guidelines. The AI Video Editor will collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to translate concepts and scripts into engaging video content for mobile apps, social media, and promotional campaigns. Daily responsibilities include optimizing workflows with AI tools, managing multiple projects and deadlines, organizing and maintaining media assets, and ensuring all deliverables meet quality and performance standards for digital platforms. The role also includes staying updated on emerging AI video technologies and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and creativity.

• Strong video editing skills using industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and experience with color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics basics.
• Hands-on experience with AI-based video tools and workflows (e.g., AI-assisted editing, auto-captioning, AI upscaling, generative video or image tools) and willingness to learn new platforms.
• Ability to interpret storyboards, scripts, and creative briefs, with a solid sense of visual storytelling, pacing, composition, and audience engagement.
• Familiarity with digital content requirements for web, social media, and mobile apps, including aspect ratios, compression, and optimization for various platforms.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects, adapt to feedback, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset to work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Animation, Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in tech, mobile app, or startup environments, and a portfolio showcasing video projects and use of AI tools, is highly preferred.
