We are looking for a skilled and passionate TDL developer to develop, customize, implement, and support Tally Prime solutions using Tally Definition Language (TDL). The candidate will be responsible for creating customized business solutions, integrating Tally with third-party applications, resolving technical issues, and delivering high-quality solutions based on client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain TDL applications for Tally Prime.
- Create custom reports, vouchers, invoices, masters, menus, forms, and business workflows.
- Understand client requirements and convert business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Tally and third-party applications using XML, APIs, and other integration methods.
- Customize GST, TDS, payroll, inventory, accounting, and MIS reports as per client requirements.
- Perform coding, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of TDL applications.
- Fix bugs, resolve production issues, and enhance existing customizations.
- Conduct technical testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Assist in software deployment, implementation, and post-implementation support.
- Coordinate with functional consultants, implementation teams, and clients for project execution.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment notes, release documents, and user manuals.
- Maintain version control and ensure proper documentation of all developments.
- Ensure timely delivery of assigned development tasks and project milestones.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and technical innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer applications, engineering, or a related field.
- 0 to 1 year of experience in TDL development and Tally Prime customization.
- Strong knowledge of TDL, Tally Prime, XML, APIs, and software development concepts.
- Good understanding of accounting, GST, TDS, Inventory, Payroll, and business processes.
- Knowledge of SQL, JSON, REST APIs, or third-party integrations will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and technical documentation.
