Talent Placement Specialist


Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Gurugarm, Kolkata & Hyderabad(Hybrid)

Job Summary


Proactively monitor client job portals like Fieldglass to identify open roles, match internal bench talent, and drive placements. Reduce Client Partner workload by managing end-to-end staffing operations from resume shortlisting to interview coordination. Build scalable SOPs, resume templates, and candidate preparation frameworks while continuously optimizing processes for higher placement success.



Key Responsibilities



  • Log into client portals daily (Fieldglass, Beeline, etc.) and systematically track all newly posted job requisitions across accounts.

  • Analyze job descriptions in detail and identify best-fit candidates from the internal bench using skills, experience, and availability.

  • Reach out to bench talent promptly, collect updated resumes, and guide them on tailoring profiles to client requirements.

  • Perform initial resume screening and shortlisting to create a high-quality candidate pool for each open requisition.

  • Schedule and host client interviews, ensuring seamless coordination between candidates, Client Partners and their customers.

  • Develop standardized resume templates and writing guidelines to ensure consistency and professionalism across all submissions.

  • Conduct mock interviews with candidates, provide structured feedback, and prepare them for client-specific interview formats.

  • Capture interview outcomes and feedback to iteratively improve candidate selection, preparation strategies, and overall placement SOPs.

  • Collaborate closely with Client Partners and Retail Chief of Staff to prioritize high-impact roles and align on urgent staffing needs weekly.

  • Track key metrics (submission-to-placement ratio, time-to-fill) and generate reports to demonstrate operational impact.


Required Skills & Experience



  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in staffing, recruitment coordination, or resource management within consulting firms.

  • Proven proficiency navigating client staffing portals such as Fieldglass, Beeline, or similar vendor management systems daily.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for maintaining candidate databases, tracking requisitions, and generating placement performance reports.

  • Exceptional written communication ability to craft compelling resumes, email correspondence, and process documentation from scratch.

  • Demonstrated experience creating detailed SOPs, process flows, and training materials that teams adopt and follow consistently.

  • Strong organizational skills to juggle 10+ open requisitions, meet tight deadlines, and escalate blockers proactively.

  • Hands-on experience coordinating interview logistics, conducting mock sessions, and coaching candidates to improve interview performance.

  • Operational, execution-focused mindset with a track record of building repeatable processes that scale across teams.
