Role Description
As a Talent Manager, your mission is to own and grow a portfolio of creators end to end across Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Chennai, turning high-potential talent into consistent revenue engines while building long-term brand relationships that compound over time. You will identify and onboard new creators, position them strategically in the market, negotiate and close brand deals, and drive the commercial trajectory of every name on your roster. You own the talent strategy, partnerships, and P&L of your portfolio.
This is a full-time, on-site Talent Manager role based in Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai
What You'll Do
- Own and grow a portfolio of creators across tiers, defining positioning, platform strategy, content direction, and commercial priorities for each talent, then translating that into a pipeline of brand partnerships and revenue milestones.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard emerging and high-potential creators early, assessing audience quality, content trajectory, brand-fit potential, and monetization readiness before signing.
- Build and run a brand partnerships pipeline, prospecting relevant brands, packaging talent proposals, pitching decision-makers, and converting outreach into signed deals with clear deliverables and timelines.
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with a revenue-first lens, protecting talent value while closing deals that are commercially strong and operationally executable.
- Lead end-to-end campaign execution for every signed partnership, managing briefs, timelines, content approvals, creator coordination, and delivery so campaigns ship on time and exceed brand expectations.
- Work closely with talent to shape content strategy, advising on format choices, platform priorities, posting cadence, and narrative positioning that grows audience value and keeps the creator commercially relevant.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with brand teams, agency leads, and industry stakeholders so repeat business compounds and inbound deal flow grows over time.
- Spot new market opportunities, whether that is an underserved brand vertical, an emerging platform, or a content format shift, and convert those signals into pitches, talent plays, or expansion proposals with clear commercial logic.
- Contribute to Viral Squad's market positioning and growth strategy by sharing talent insights, competitive intelligence, and partnership learnings that sharpen the company's overall approach.
- Track and report on portfolio performance, including deal volume, revenue, campaign outcomes, and talent growth metrics, using data to refine targeting, improve pitch quality, and prioritize where to double down.
Who You Are
- You have 2 or more years managing creators, influencers, or celebrities at the macro or mega tier, with proof that your work drove measurable commercial outcomes through signed partnerships, revenue growth, or talent scaling.
- You have a strong existing network across brands, agencies, creators, and industry stakeholders in at least one of Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, or Chennai, and you know how to activate that network to open doors and close deals.
- You understand the creator economy deeply, not just the platforms and metrics, but how brand budgets move, how talent value compounds, and how to position a creator as a commercial asset rather than a content channel.
- You are a sharp negotiator with a revenue-first mindset. You know how to structure deals that protect talent value, satisfy brand objectives, and maximize commercial return without leaving money on the table.
- You can manage multiple talent relationships, brand pipelines, and campaign timelines simultaneously without dropping quality or losing control of deliverables.
- You stay plugged into digital trends, pop culture shifts, and evolving content formats, and you translate that awareness into actionable recommendations for your talent and your pitches.
- You are built for ownership. You can operate independently, make judgment calls under pressure, and take accountability for outcomes across your entire portfolio.
