Role Summary:

A Talent and Organizational Development (T&OD) professional drives strategic initiatives to improve performance, culture, and structure by fostering employee growth and leadership capabilities. They lead talent management processes, such as performance appraisals and succession planning, while developing training programs to address skill gaps. Key roles involve change management, organizational design, and increasing employee engagement.

Core Responsibilities

  • Talent Management & Succession Planning: Design and execute talent reviews, performance management processes (e.g., OKRs, feedback), and career development programs.
  • Leadership & Employee Development: Create and deliver training workshops, mentoring initiatives, and coaching programs for employees and managers.
  • Organizational Design & Culture: Analyze organizational structures, build culture, and lead change management efforts during structural shifts.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop initiatives to enhance engagement, including surveys, focus groups, and recognition programs.
  • Strategic Advisory: Partner with business leaders and HR to map workforce skills to strategic business goals.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Measure the effectiveness of OD goals, KPIs, and ROI for talent initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Usually 10+ years in HR, OD, or talent management, often requiring experience with global teams.
  • Knowledge: Proven expertise in leadership development, adult learning principles, organizational design, and change management.
  • Skills: Strong consulting, facilitation, and coaching skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
  • Tools: Experience with LMS (Learning Management Systems), HRIS systems, and data analysis tools

Job Description

Ecolab is seeking a Talent and Organizational Development Manager who will play a critical role in on-boarding and training Ecolab existing employees. Your primary responsibilities will include facilitating classroom training in India locations as necessary and developing classroom curriculum in alignment with Ecolab's service standards to drive individual and team success.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead classroom facilitation at Academy cohorts
  • Design, develop and update classroom curriculum, exams and materials
  • Communicate trainee progress after each classroom week to the appropriate Field Training Specialist
  • Coordinate with Managing Field Training Manager's to review progress of trainees and ensure the needs of the individual trainee are being met
  • Communicate with regional and district level operations management to resolve any issues that arise with a new hire as related to classroom weeks
  • Provide coaching and training to high potential Field Training Specialists for development into facilitation roles
  • Partner with R&D, Marketing, Safety and other operational partners, possibly outside of the division, and globally on projects to further training innovations
  • Participate in the phase gate process for new programs in order to build expertise and develop training curriculum in support of new program deployment
  • Set up, maintain and organize training supplies, equipment and tools to ensure quality learning experiences
  • Perform train-the-trainer session to keep managing Field Training Managers up-to-date on new program content and materials
  • Maintain field experience by shadowing Field Training Specialists in different market segments
  • Attend Regional Meetings and if needed be the lead Field Training Manager facilitators
  • Assist in the facilitation on Counselor Sales Person and Business Acumen training
  • Conduct regular needs assessments and assists with the design and development of training: quarterly in-field training, program launches, etc.
  • Create an environment that promotes and strengthens Ecolab's diverse and inclusive culture

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent field
  • 10+ years of professional work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in a Talent and Organizational Development role
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication, conflict resolution and cross functional partnership skills
  • Proven ability to teach, coach, and support others to succeed
  • Ability to assess performance and provide constructive feedback
  • In-depth knowledge of Ecolab Pest Elimination policies, protocols, and programs.
  • Intermediate PC skills in MS Office software, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
