Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan

CTC- 4-5 LPA

About Us

The Wellness Shop is a fast-growing D2C beauty and personal care brand under Urbaine Consumer India Pvt. Ltd. We operate across e-commerce, quick commerce, and offline retail — and we are scaling fast. We need a sharp, execution-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist who has lived the chaos of agency recruiting and can now build something from the inside.

Who We Are Looking For

Not a coordinator. Not someone who posts jobs and waits. We need a hunter — someone who has spent years in a recruitment agency or consultancy, knows how to close difficult roles fast, has hired across e-commerce functions end-to-end, and can roll up their sleeves while also guiding a small team. If you thrive in a startup environment, own your numbers, and treat hiring as a business function — this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Sourcing

  • Own end-to-end recruitment across all levels — junior to leadership
  • Build and maintain a strong active + passive candidate pipeline across e-commerce, sales, marketing, operations, SCM, and marketplace functions
  • Source aggressively via Naukri, LinkedIn, Apna, Instagram, referrals, and direct headhunting
  • Write sharp, compelling job descriptions that attract the right talent
  • Reduce time-to-hire without compromising on candidate quality

E-Commerce & Functional Hiring

  • Hire across key e-commerce roles: Marketplace Managers, Account Managers (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Blinkit, Zepto), Category Managers, SCM/Logistics leads, Growth & Performance Marketing, D2C Operations, Customer Experience, and more
  • Understand role nuances — know the difference between a marketplace ops person and a performance marketer
  • Build role-specific evaluation frameworks and screening criteria with department heads

Agency Mindset, In-House Execution

  • Apply agency-level speed, discipline, and hustle to internal hiring
  • Maintain a tracker with daily/weekly hiring metrics: sourced, screened, interviewed, offered, joined
  • Run structured hiring processes: JD → sourcing → screening → interview scheduling → offer → joining
  • Manage vendor/consultant relationships when needed for niche roles

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with department heads to understand hiring needs, team culture, and role fitment
  • Set realistic timelines and communicate progress proactively
  • Push back on vague requirements — bring structure to the hiring process
  • Present shortlists with clear candidate summaries, not just CVs

Team Handling

  • Guide and manage a small TA team or recruiting coordinators
  • Set daily targets, review pipelines, and ensure accountability
  • Mentor junior team members on sourcing techniques and screening quality
  • Create SOPs for hiring workflows that the team can follow consistently

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Ensure every candidate has a professional, timely experience regardless of outcome
  • Contribute to employer branding on LinkedIn and job portals
  • Manage company presence on Glassdoor, AmbitionBox, and LinkedIn proactively

You Must Have

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition — with a mandatory stint in a recruitment agency or HR consultancy
  • Proven track record of hiring across e-commerce functions: sales, marketplace, SCM, operations, marketing, quick commerce
  • Experience handling a team of recruiters or coordinators
  • Startup experience — you are comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and zero hand-holding
  • Strong sourcing skills beyond job portals — LinkedIn headhunting, referrals, community networks
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills — you can sell the opportunity, not just screen candidates
  • High ownership mindset — you track your own numbers and don't wait to be chased

Good to Have

  • Prior in-house TA experience in a D2C, FMCG, or e-commerce company
  • Exposure to quick commerce hiring (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart ecosystems)
  • Familiarity with GreytHR or any ATS
  • Experience building hiring SOPs or TA playbooks from scratch
