This is not a traditional recruiter position. You'll work directly with leadership, influence hiring decisions, improve talent processes, and play a key role in building the company's future team structure.
## The Role
We're hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end-to-end hiring across multiple functions. You'll be responsible for identifying strong talent, driving hiring pipelines, improving recruiting systems, and ensuring we attract people who align with both the quality bar and company culture.
You should be comfortable operating independently, moving quickly, and making judgment calls without needing constant direction.
## What You'll Do
- Own the complete hiring lifecycle — from role briefing to offer closure
- Source high-quality candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, communities, outreach, and alternative sourcing channels
- Conduct candidate screening, evaluation, and shortlisting independently
- Partner closely with founders and leadership on hiring priorities and workforce planning
- Build structured hiring workflows, outreach systems, and recruiting processes
- Maintain strong candidate experience throughout the hiring journey
- Use AI tools and modern recruiting workflows to improve sourcing efficiency and decision-making
- Support hiring across creative, operational, and business roles as the company scales
## What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or Executive Search
- Strong sourcing and candidate evaluation capabilities
- Comfortable working directly with leadership teams and contributing beyond execution
- Familiarity with AI tools for research, sourcing, workflow automation, or recruiting operations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently
- Organized, fast-moving, and adaptable in startup environments
- Ability to assess both skill fit and culture fit effectively
## Bonus Points
- Experience hiring for creative or design-focused roles
(Product Designers, Graphic Designers, Brand Designers, Motion Designers, etc.)
- Experience working in startups, agencies, or remote-first teams
- Exposure to building hiring systems or improving recruiting operations
