Role Purpose
The Recruitment Assistant will support the Talent Acquisition function by managing end-to-end recruitment coordination activities, including sourcing, screening, interview scheduling and maintaining recruitment trackers. The role ensures smooth candidate experience and timely closure of hiring requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Source candidates through job portals, internal databases, references and social media platforms.
- Screen resumes against role requirements and shortlist suitable candidates.
- Conduct brief preliminary information-gathering calls with candidates to assess interest, availability, experience and compensation expectations.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with internal and external panel members, ensuring availability and confirmations.
- Prepare and circulate interview schedules, candidate profiles and evaluation formats to panel members.
- Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, MIS and status reports for all open positions.
- Ensure timely follow-ups with candidates and hiring stakeholders at each stage of the process.
- Support documentation related to interview outcomes, selection recommendations and offer processing.
- Maintain candidate records and ensure data confidentiality and compliance.
- Assist in improving recruitment processes and candidate experience.

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Management or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in recruitment coordination, HR operations or talent acquisition support.
- Prior experience in academic/institutional hiring will be an added advantage.
