Position Description

Position Title: Lead- Talent Acquisition

Reports to: HR Head

Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

The Lead-Talent Acquisition will work closely with Head of HR for designing and executing the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy for UNSW Bengaluru. This role will drive talent attraction, employer branding, stakeholder management, vendor management, and hiring process excellence, ensuring a high-quality, diverse, and future-ready workforce.

Key Deliverables

  • Develop and implement a robust hiring strategy aligned with business growth plans and workforce forecasting
  • Partner with leadership to understand talent needs and create proactive sourcing strategies
  • Drive data-driven talent acquisition and hiring planning
  • Manage the full Talent Acquisition lifecycle (requisition intake to onboarding)
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, quality benchmarks, and candidate experience standards
  • Lead hiring for diverse roles across academic support, technology, operations, and corporate functions
  • Influence hiring decisions through market insights and talent intelligence
  • Leverage social media, job boards, and recruitment marketing initiatives
  • Design innovative sourcing strategies leveraging direct sourcing, referrals, and external partnerships
  • Engage passive candidates through research and relationship building
  • Ensure compliance with local and global hiring policies, diversity hiring goals, and local regulations
  • Streamline recruitment processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Drive inclusive hiring practices and diverse talent pipelines
  • Partner with HR to embed DEI principles across recruitment processes

Skills And Experience

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resource or BTech/BE/BSc or equivalent (CS/IT/ECE/EEE)
  • More than 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Mandatory prior experience of job board and social media such as Naukri.com, LinkedIn etc.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of adaptability in constant changing environments
  • Strong logical and analytical skill
