Position Description
Position Title: Lead- Talent Acquisition
Reports to: HR Head
Employment Type: Full-time
Position Summary
The Lead-Talent Acquisition will work closely with Head of HR for designing and executing the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy for UNSW Bengaluru. This role will drive talent attraction, employer branding, stakeholder management, vendor management, and hiring process excellence, ensuring a high-quality, diverse, and future-ready workforce.
Key Deliverables
- Develop and implement a robust hiring strategy aligned with business growth plans and workforce forecasting
- Partner with leadership to understand talent needs and create proactive sourcing strategies
- Drive data-driven talent acquisition and hiring planning
- Manage the full Talent Acquisition lifecycle (requisition intake to onboarding)
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, quality benchmarks, and candidate experience standards
- Lead hiring for diverse roles across academic support, technology, operations, and corporate functions
- Influence hiring decisions through market insights and talent intelligence
- Leverage social media, job boards, and recruitment marketing initiatives
- Design innovative sourcing strategies leveraging direct sourcing, referrals, and external partnerships
- Engage passive candidates through research and relationship building
- Ensure compliance with local and global hiring policies, diversity hiring goals, and local regulations
- Streamline recruitment processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive inclusive hiring practices and diverse talent pipelines
- Partner with HR to embed DEI principles across recruitment processes
Skills And Experience
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resource or BTech/BE/BSc or equivalent (CS/IT/ECE/EEE)
- More than 4 years of relevant work experience
- Mandatory prior experience of job board and social media such as Naukri.com, LinkedIn etc.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- High level of adaptability in constant changing environments
- Strong logical and analytical skill
