Role Overview
As a Talent Acquisition Intern at YAAS, you'll play a key role in helping us build the creative engine behind content viewed by millions every month. You'll work closely with our Talent Acquisition team to source, screen, and onboard video editors and other creative talent in the media space. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who's curious about the creator economy, loves spotting great talent, and wants to learn the craft of recruitment from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Source video editors, motion graphics artists, designers, and other creative talent through job boards, social media, communities, and referrals
- Screen portfolios, showreels, and resumes to shortlist candidates who match our quality bar
- Conduct initial outreach and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Help build and maintain a talent pipeline of editors and creative professionals for ongoing and future requirements
- Maintain candidate trackers and keep recruitment data organized and up to date
- Support the team in coordinating tests, assignments, and onboarding for selected candidates
- Stay updated on trends in the creator economy, editing tools, and creative communities in India
Requirements
- 0-1 year of experience in recruitment, HR, or talent sourcing (internships, freelance, or college projects count)
- Strong interest in the media, content, and creator economy space
- Basic understanding of creative roles - especially what makes a good video editor (familiarity with Premiere Pro, After Effects is a plus)
- Comfortable reaching out to candidates cold and building rapport quickly
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple candidate pipelines at once
- Active presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, or other platforms where creative talent hangs out
- Hungry to learn, take feedback, and grow into a full-time TA role
