Job Description

Job Title: Talent Acquisition Intern - Education Hiring

Location: Hyderabad (In-Office)

Duration: 36 Months

Stipend: 10,000 to 15,000 per month

Working Days: Monday to Saturday (5 working days per week, Saturdays WFH)

PPO Opportunity: Yes

Urban School is building solutions for the education ecosystem. With the launch of Urban Teacher App, a community and recruitment platform for teachers, we help schools streamline teacher hiring and connect them with quality educators.

As we expand our school partnerships across Hyderabad, we are building a strong Talent Acquisition team to support recruitment operations.

Role Overview

We are looking for driven and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Interns who want real exposure to end-to-end hiring.

You will work closely with the Head of HR to manage teacher recruitment for schools onboarded through Urban Teacher. This is a hands-on role where you will screen candidates, conduct first-round interviews, coordinate with schools, and support the hiring process.

This is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in HR / Recruitment / Talent Acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and understand hiring requirements from partnered schools
  • Source and screen teacher profiles based on role requirements
  • Conduct first-round interviews independently
  • Evaluate communication skills, subject expertise, and suitability
  • Maintain candidate trackers and hiring dashboards
  • Share shortlisted profiles with schools
  • Coordinate interview scheduling between schools and candidates
  • Follow up on feedback and hiring decisions
  • Assist in closing open positions within defined timelines

What We're Looking For

  • Background in HR / MBA HR / BBA / Psychology / related fields
  • Strong communication skills in Telugu and English (Hindi is a plus)
  • Good evaluation and judgment skills
  • Confident in conducting interviews
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to take ownership
