About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Manager or Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition to join our dynamic team at the Head Office in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of 13-17 years in talent acquisition within the EPC or infrastructure industry. This role demands strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of recruitment processes tailored to large-scale projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive recruitment strategies across multiple regions, ensuring the company attracts top talent aligned with its growth objectives. Additionally, they will oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to onboarding, while managing a team of recruiters and coordinators to achieve hiring targets efficiently.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certifications in HR or Talent Acquisition will be an added advantage. Extensive experience of 13-17 years in talent acquisition within the EPC or infrastructure industry is essential. Proven expertise in developing recruitment strategies for diverse regional locations, managing external agencies, and utilizing various sourcing channels is required. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in HRMS and data management tools are necessary to succeed in this role. Candidates should demonstrate a strategic mindset, analytical capabilities, and a proactive approach to talent acquisition challenges.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment:
- Develop and implement tailored recruitment plans for different regional locations to meet specific hiring demands.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define clear job requirements, interview techniques, and selection criteria, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Utilize diverse sourcing methods such as job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn), networking, referrals, and direct outreach to identify suitable candidates.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, consultants, and job boards to optimize talent sourcing channels.
- Review applications, shortlist qualified candidates, and conduct initial telephonic screenings to assess suitability for roles.
- Coordinate with candidates for documentation verification, background checks, and other pre-employment processes.
- Negotiate salary packages, extend offers, and oversee the closing process to secure top talent efficiently.
- Manage third-party background verification processes and maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities.
- Build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline to meet current and future hiring needs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters and recruitment coordinators to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
- Data Management:
- Maintain precise and current records of all candidates and recruitment activities within the HRMS.
- Prepare weekly and monthly recruitment reports, dashboards, and MIS to track progress and identify improvement areas.
- Analyze recruitment KPIs such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire to optimize processes and reduce hiring cycle times.
- On-Boarding:
- Own the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires and capturing feedback on their onboarding experience.
- Follow up with new employees to gather feedback and ensure timely completion of onboarding documentation.
- Compile onboarding feedback and prepare MIS reports to facilitate continuous process enhancements.
