Infinita Lab is building a global, quality-driven materials testing and R&D services platform for advanced materials, semiconductors, batteries, aerospace, and energy companies.

We work closely with deep-tech startups, scaling technology companies, and R&D teams that care about speed, rigor, and trust. We are a founder-led, execution-focused company, building systems that can scale globally without bureaucracy.

Hiring is a core capability for us not a support function.

The Role:

This is not a traditional HR role.

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition & People Operations Manager who:

  • Has enough experience to carry weight and judgment
  • Is still hands-on with sourcing, outreach, follow-ups, and scheduling
  • Thinks of recruiting as a funnel + systems + technology problem
  • Actively usesor is eager to use AI and modern tools to improve effectiveness

Hiring decisions are owned by the operations team.

You will run the recruiting engine and own the candidate experience end-to-end.

What You Will Own

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Operations (Primary)

  • Source and engage candidates using LinkedIn
  • Build and manage structured candidate pipelines
  • Own candidate communication from first outreach to closure
  • Coordinate interviews across teams and time zones
  • Keep hiring fast, organized, and professional
  • Act as the first point of trust for candidates evaluating Infinita Lab

Candidate Experience & Employer Narrative

  • Clearly communicate Infinita Lab's mission, learning curve, and growth opportunity
  • Craft thoughtful, personalized outreach (not copy-paste templates)
  • Maintain strong response rates through timely follow-ups
  • Ensure candidates feel respected and informed at every stage

Process, Metrics & Continuous Improvement

  • Track recruiting metrics (response rates, funnel conversion, time-to-hire)
  • Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve the hiring process
  • Maintain clean, structured recruiting data
  • Enable hiring managers to focus on decisions, not logistics

AI-First & Tech-Forward Mindset (Important)

We strongly value candidates who:

  • Actively use or experiment with AI tools in recruiting or operations
  • Apply automation to improve sourcing, screening, communication, or tracking
  • Are curious, adaptive, and early adopters of cutting-edge technology

You don't need to build AI systems but you should think in leverage and tools.

People Operations & HR Systems (Secondary)

  • Set up and manage Zoho People or similar HRMS
  • Run onboarding and HR orientation for new hires
  • Manage offer letters, employee records, and HR documentation
  • Help build clean, scalable people operations as the company grows

This role does not focus on payroll or heavy statutory compliance.

What We're Looking For

Must-Have

  • 38 years of hands-on recruiting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of LinkedIn sourcing
  • Experience running end-to-end hiring processes
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Comfort working directly with founders and senior operators
  • High ownership and execution mindset

Nice to Have

  • Experience in startups or fast-growing teams
  • Exposure to technical, engineering, or R&D-driven hiring
  • Experience implementing or managing an HRMS
  • Prior use of AI, automation, or analytics tools in recruiting

Compensation & Growth

Compensation will be competitive and aligned with impact, ownership, and growth trajectory.

There is clear room to grow into a Talent Operations Lead / Head of Talent role as the company scales.

Important Note

This role is not suitable for candidates who prefer:

  • Pure HR administration
  • Policy-heavy environments
  • Slow, approval-driven organizations
