Tactical Resource Planning Analyst
Job Summary
The Tactical Resource Planning Analyst is responsible for workforce planning, capacity management, and operational resource optimization. This role ensures customer commitments are met by aligning workforce availability, demand forecasts, and operational requirements while supporting cost-effective service delivery.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor demand, backlog, and due-date performance, and adjust capacity plans to meet service commitments.
- Develop and maintain weekly resource plans, capacity settings, and workforce allocation strategies.
- Collaborate with Dispatch, Field Operations, and Leadership teams to support workforce planning and execution.
- Manage partner capacity requirements and recommend actions to address resource gaps and operational constraints.
- Analyze workforce performance, prepare operational reports, and provide recommendations to improve service delivery and efficiency.
- Support workforce optimization initiatives, including technician deployment, service area alignment, and skills planning.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Workforce Management, Resource Planning, Forecasting, Capacity Planning, or Operations Planning.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Experience working with workforce planning, scheduling, forecasting, or operational systems.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Operations, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
