Tableau/Power BI, SQL

We are seeking a Tableau/Power BI Developer with 8+ years of experience, including 6+ years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be skilled in designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau/Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements. You must possess strong knowledge of SQL queries and experience working with both NoSQL and/or Relational databases. This role involves implementing best practices for data visualization, ensuring usability, and integrating Tableau/Power BI with various data sources. You will also collaborate with data analysts, business analysts, and other stakeholders, and be responsible for documenting development processes, best practices, and data sources.

Key Responsibilities

• Dashboard & Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Tableau/Power BI dashboards and reports that effectively meet diverse business requirements.
• Data Querying: Utilize strong knowledge of SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Database Interaction: Work efficiently with both NoSQL and/or Relational databases to access and prepare data for reporting.
• Data Visualization Best Practices: Implement industry best practices for data visualization, ensuring the usability, clarity, and effectiveness of Tableau/Power BI dashboards.
• Data Source Integration: Integrate Tableau/Power BI with various data sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs, to consolidate information.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with data analysts, business analysts, and other stakeholders to thoroughly understand data requirements and deliver impactful Tableau/Power BI solutions.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Tableau/Power BI development processes, best practices, and underlying data sources to facilitate knowledge transfer and team onboarding.

Required Skills and Experience

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence development.
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau/Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries.
• Experience in working with data-bases (both NoSQL and/or Relational).
• Ability to implement best practices for data visualization and ensure usability.
• Experience integrating Tableau/Power BI with various data sources (databases, spreadsheets, APIs).
• Experience collaborating with data analysts, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to document Tableau/Power BI development processes, best practices, and data sources.
