- Design develop and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and convert them into reporting solutions
- Create visually appealing dashboards scorecards KPIs and performance metrics
- Develop data models and optimize data sources for efficient reporting
- Connect Tableau with various data sources such as SQL Server Oracle Snowflake Azure SQL and Excel
- Write complex SQL queries views stored procedures and data extraction scripts
- Ensure data accuracy consistency and integrity across reports and dashboards
- Perform dashboard performance tuning and optimization
- Implement row level security and data governance standards
- Publish schedule and manage Tableau reports on Tableau Server Tableau Cloud
- Create calculated fields parameters sets filters and Level of Detail LOD expressions
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate with business teams data engineers and analysts to deliver analytics solutions
- Conduct user training and provide guidance on dashboard usage
- Monitor dashboard usage and recommend enhancements
- Automate reporting and data refresh processes
- Participate in Agile Scrum development activities
- Prepare technical documentation data dictionaries and user manuals
- Support UAT and production deployments
Technical Requirements:
- Strong experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server Tableau Cloud
- Expertise in dashboard design and data visualization best practices
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Tableau calculations parameters LOD expressions and table calculations
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server Oracle MySQL PostgreSQL or Snowflake
- Understanding of data modeling concepts
