Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to support and enhance our data visualization and reporting capabilities. Currently, all ETL reconciliations are performed using Infogix, with Tableau dashboards connected to its SQL Server backend.
As part of our modernization strategy, we plan to migrate Infogix processes to the GCP framework and reconfigure Tableau to connect via API endpoints.
This role requires strong Tableau development skills, experience working with SQL Server data sources, and the ability to adapt dashboards to evolving data pipelines. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and visualization during the transition.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards connected to Infogix SQL Server Collaborate with data engineering teams to understand ETL reconciliation logic Prepare for migration by analysing existing Tableau data sources and dependencies Reconfigure Tableau endpoints to connect with ETL (GCP) outputs via both DB and API integration Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across dashboards Create and maintain documentation for dashboard logic, data mappings, and API configurations Support business users with ad hoc reporting and data visualization needs Participate in testing and validation of data during the migration process Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in Tableau development, including calculated fields, parameters, and dashboard design Strong proficiency in SQL, especially with SQL Server Familiarity with Infogix data structures and reconciliation workflows Understanding of API integration and configuring Tableau to consume API-based data sources Ability to work with ETL teams and translate backend logic into meaningful visualizations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities
