Role Description -
We are seeking a Tableau Architect with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-grade Tableau solutions. The role requires strong technical expertise in BI architecture, governance, and performance tuning, along with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and impactful dashboards. This position is hybrid, offering flexibility with remote work and onsite collaboration.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Define Tableau architecture strategy including server setup, governance, and scalability.
- Design data models and schemas for efficient dashboard performance.
- Establish best practices for visualization standards, metadata management, and version control.
- Lead the development of interactive dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
- Optimize existing Tableau workbooks for performance and usability.
- Integrate Tableau with data warehouses, APIs, and external systems.
- Implement role-based security models and ensure compliance with banking/financial regulations.
- Define data governance frameworks for consistent reporting.
- Conduct audits and performance reviews of Tableau environments.
- Partner with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior developers and analysts.
- Act as a technical advisor for BI strategy and roadmap.
Mandatory Required Skills
- 8+ years of professional BI/Analytics experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Tableau development and architecture (dashboards, reports, calculated fields, parameters).
- Proven expertise in Tableau Server/Online administration, governance, and scalability.
- Strong SQL proficiency (complex queries, optimization, stored procedures).
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning.
- Deep understanding of data visualization best practices and enterprise reporting standards.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to define BI strategy, frameworks, and best practices.
Preferred Skills (Good-to-Have)
- Python/R integration for advanced analytics.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in banking/financial services domain.
