Overall Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance Tableau dashboards and BI solutions.
- Define Tableau governance, security standards, and visualization best practices.
- Translate complex business requirements into optimized data models and meaningful visualizations.
- Drive BI adoption across the organization and ensure dashboard usability and performance.
- Provide architecture guidance, technical leadership, and support pre-sales activities including POCs and solution design.
Skills & Tools
- Expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization principles and dashboard performance tuning
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and ETL pipelines
- Excellent SQL skills for handling large and complex datasets
- Experience integrating data from multiple sources into Tableau
- Exposure to cloud BI platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Working knowledge of Power BI, Looker, or Amazon QuickSight
- Knowledge of Python or R for data transformation (preferred)
- Experience with Salesforce data models (Standard and Custom Objects) is a plus

Day-to-Day Activities
- Design and optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and scalability.
- Review and improve data models and visualization logic.
- Collaborate with data engineering and business teams for requirement analysis.
- Conduct peer reviews and ensure adherence to BI standards.
- Support dashboard deployment, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Assist in architecture discussions, effort estimation, and solution proposals.
- Mentor developers and promote best visualization practices.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization
- Proven experience in leading enterprise-scale BI initiatives
- Prior experience in client-facing roles, including pre-sales and delivery planning, is preferred
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Tableau certification (Tableau Desktop / Consultant Certified Professional) is preferred
