Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled BI Platforms Administrator with strong expertise in Tableau Cloud/Server administration and Sigma Data platform exposure. This role is focused on platform administration, governance, and optimization, not core data engineering.

The ideal candidate will manage BI environments, ensure platform reliability, support analytics teams, and maintain governance and security standards across BI tools.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration

• Administer Tableau Cloud / Tableau Server environments
• Manage sites, projects, permissions, user access, schedules, and extracts
• Oversee Sigma Data platform usage and administration (exposure level expected)

Governance & Security

• Implement and manage access controls, data security, and governance policies
• Monitor audit logs, user activity, and ensure compliance standards

Monitoring & Support

• Monitor platform performance, usage, and availability
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high platform uptime
• Support business users and analysts with platform-related queries

Collaboration & Enablement

• Work with Analytics and Business teams to ensure smooth adoption
• Provide guidance on best practices and BI usage standards

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-Have)

• Strong experience in Tableau Administration (Tableau Cloud / Server)
• Site management, projects, permissions, extracts, schedules
• Exposure to Sigma Data platform (mandatory)
• Good understanding of BI platform administration & governance concepts
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL concepts)
• Understanding of data architecture basics and data flow concepts

Additional Expectations (Important)

• This is strictly an ADMIN role (Not Data Engineering role)
• Candidate should have:
• Conceptual understanding of data engineering
• Awareness of modern data platforms and ecosystems
• Exposure (awareness level) to:
• Snowflake / Amazon Redshift
• Hands-on deep data engineering experience is NOT required

Good to Have Skills

• Basic exposure to Power BI (optional, not mandatory)
• Awareness of Microsoft Fabric (optional)
• Familiarity with BI ecosystem tools and cloud platforms

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus (not mandatory)
