Job Purpose
To provide high-level technical, analytical, and coordination support to the CMD in overseeing mining operations, projects and strategic initiatives. The role acts as a bridge between the CMD and technical teams, ensuring timely decision-making, project tracking, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring mining operations, projects and technical performance across sites.
- Prepare technical reports, dashboards, presentations and MIS for review.
- Track project progress, production targets, cost parameters and compliance status.
- Coordinate with Mining, Geology, Mechanical, Electrical, Safety, Material, Store and Planning teams.
- Support in reviewing DPRs, mining plans, schedules and operational strategies.
- Follow up on directives and ensure timely execution across departments.
- Participate in technical meetings, reviews, site visits, record key observations and action points.
- Support compliance with statutory requirements.
- Assist in evaluation of new projects, expansions, and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.E./B. Tech in Mining Engineering / Mechanical or relevant technical discipline.
- 4 years of experience in mining operations, project management or technical planning.
- Strong understanding of open-cast mining operations.
