Job Description

Responsibilities:

(a)Develop a solid understanding of all payroll systems including time and attendance applications, in-house payroll applications, HR applications, Payroll APEX solutions, CRM solutions, including understanding the payroll processes.

(b)Perform all unit testing and UAT in accordance with testing matrices for new payroll system implementations or system enhancements.

(c)Review user design for optimum end user experience.

(d)Perform end to end or regression testing for all payroll/HR systems, APEX and CRM upgrades.

(e)Assist with creating or improving testing matrices.

(f)Coordinate testing with other lines of business impacted.

(g)Log and monitor all bugs relating to systems being tested, working closely with developers.

(h)Appropriately identify and escalate P1 issues found during testing.

(i)Participate in project conference calls in a professional manner.

(j)Effectively communicate project testing progress to project team and escalate issues in a timely manner.

(k)Ensure deadlines are met by monitoring issue resolution and progression of testing.

(l)Work with regional payroll specialists to gain knowledge of country processes and to assess testing results.

(m)Create and update user guides for all payroll systems.

(n)Administer the banking systems user access and vendor system access.

(o)Administers access to file sharing applications for all internal and external parties for sharing confidential information.

(p) Assist with the global audit of the banking systems/HR Systems/Payroll systems on a quarterly basis.

(q) Understand, acknowledge and operate within the department policies and procedures.

(r) Undertake other tasks attributed by the direct manager in line with the departmental guidelines.

Abilities and Qualifications:

  • Possess an undergraduate degree in any discipline, preferably in finance or related fields
  • Good fluency in English
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under all circumstances
  • Ability to create and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Organized and extremely detail oriented
  • Result driven and ability to solve problems
  • Ability to prioritize and handle many requests, operating under tight deadlines and in a rapidly changing environment

Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of total experience
  • Experience with system implementations
  • Experience with Payroll/HR Applications is a plus
  • Knowledge of testing process methods and concepts is a plus
