Skills and Qualifications:
About 3+ years of Core Python development / support experience
about 3 years of SnowFlake experience.
Expert in Python, with knowledge of Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, etc
Knowledge of python libraries like Pandas, numpy, requests and database related libraries
OOPS in python
Experience working on linux
Knowledge of cloud platforms
Understanding of threading and multi-process architecture
Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python
Understanding of differences between multiple delivery platforms
Materialized Views, Partitioning tables, DB Links
Autosys, Control-M, Cron-tab
Strong unit test and debugging skills
Understanding of code versioning tools such as git
Knowledge of scripting languages like shell
Responsibilities:
Must have experience of writing and modifying complex Python methods
Contributes to technical documentation and follows standard version control procedures
Develops new programs and enhances existing programs to support various team initiatives
Excellent communication skills
Works effectively with various technologies
Ability to work on Dev / Integration Test / Prod environments
Ability to analyse database related or data related issues and provide required fix with quick turnaround
Has to work within the client's ODC and adhering to the client's InfoSec policy
Required to participate in production rollout and supporting application which is developed during the production event
Available to sanity test the application during the production or test environment rollouts
