Systems Engineer

• Collect & Understand the customer inputs (with input data file) and system requirements (with external compliance matrix)
• Interface with customer for functional requirements (including performance / dependability / diagnostic...)
• Produce the system requirement specification (including use-cases, limit cases and misuses)
• Adopt to changing requirements of the project based on customer / internal needs

Develop & Integrate system element requirements

• To identify and understand an existing mechanical architecture and adopt the system to a new architecture based on project needs
• To identify and get done the interface electrical harness for any system elements and also vehicle level.
• To be able to make communication interfacing through the applicable protocol like CAN, LIN.. etc
• To be able to make calibration interfacing through applicable protocol like CCP, XCP..etc
• To be able to think logically for control systems development
• Ensure system-engineering support to the design teams to design the system element and to test and process teams to check it.

Manage project/platform associated validation plans

• Define the system validation test plan on system benches and ensure that a set of acceptance criteria will guarantee that every high level requirements have been covered.
• Design and Develop Functional level bench test and vehicle level component integration test for system elements
• Manage SLI for system issues detected internally or by customer on the sub-systems
• Manage QRQC and FTA for any issue
• Contribute to the dependability process (PHA, System-FMEA, e-FMEA and FTA) and quality process (Design FMEA)

Ensure the compatibility / standardisation between existing projects/platforms

• Capitalise the know-how (standardisation, specifications, technical reports, processes and guidelines)
• Elaborate patents in his specialty. Participate in the patents committee meetings
• Apply and continuously improve the system engineering standards and tools

Secure Product Robustness, apply standards

• In accordance with Valeo rules
• Awareness of APQP, FMEA, ISO 26262 is an added advantage
