Job Description

About Us

We're building deeply intelligent UAVs for defense forces - designed to out-think, outmaneuver, and dominate even in contested environments. Our mission is to give the armed forces an undeniable edge and help safeguard peace across borders. We move fast, challenge limits, and obsess over building technology that redefines what's possible. If you are driven to build something truly transformational then this is it.

About The Role

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the integration, testing, and validation of mechanical and electronic systems onboard our UAV platforms. You will support flight testing, interface with OEM vendors, and contribute to the operational readiness of our aircrafts. Your work will span ground testing, component validation, aircraft assembly, system troubleshooting, and maintenance of documentation.

    • Participate in flight test campaigns, assist in pre-flight setup, monitoring, and post-flight diagnostics.
      • Use and configure Ground Control Stations (e.g., Mission Planner, QGroundControl) and autopilot systems (e.g., ArduPilot, PX4).
        • Document and analyze test results, support root-cause analysis, and propose system improvements.
          • Evaluate, test, and validate various OEM components (motors, ESCs, sensors, autopilots, etc.).
            • Identify and engage with appropriate OEM vendors; support outsourcing of custom parts and assemblies.
              • Support the creation and refinement of SOPs, UAV maintenance manuals, and user documentation.
                • Conduct hands-on assembly, soldering, wiring, and troubleshooting of UAV sub-systems.
                  • Ensure smooth system operation by integrating and tuning aircraft components for optimal performance.
                    • Maintain thorough documentation of integrations, changes, and system configurations.

                      • 3+ years of hands-on experience with electro-mechanical systems capable of soldering, assembling, and troubleshooting UAV systems.
                        • Proficient in flying and operating multirotor and/or fixed-wing UAVs.
                          • Knowledge of UAV sensors, autopilots, telemetry systems, and electrical test equipment (e.g., multimeters, logic analyzers).
                            • Familiarity with GCS software (e.g., Mission Planner, QGC) and various UAV flight stacks (ArduPilot, PX4).
                              • Experience in aircraft tuning, flight performance optimization, and real-time troubleshooting.
                                • Passion for large-scale UAVs and practical understanding of aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and structural integration.
