Job Description:

As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, In-service support and testing of the Communication, Navigation and Surveillance systems for Airbus commercial aircraft.

The scope of activities are:-

  • Design new functions, features and architecture of CNS systems e.g. Radio Navigation Systems, GPS based landing systems, etc.

  • Development of behavioral/simulation models for CNS systems

  • Verification and Validation (V&V) of CNS systems using system integration benches or target simulation platforms to facilitate internal lab evaluations, pilot tests and validation

  • Collaborate with different stakeholders during the system V&V campaigns across multiple aircraft programs

  • Evolutions of systems or models based on the lab test sessions, change requests, system updates, product road map, etc.

  • Work with the design teams to develop technical specifications for new or upgraded versions of the CNS systems

  • Respond to system related technical queries (In-service occurrences, observations, etc.) raised by the customers in a timely manner

  • Support and work on the activities related to the system interface between the various CNS systems and other aircraft systems.

  • Automation to support various activities related to design, In-service and V&V activities.

Required Education:

. B.Tech./ B.E./ M.Tech./ M.E in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Avionics/Electrical/Electronics Engineering

Industry Experience:

8 - 10 years

Required Technical Expertise:

. General awareness of aircraft and its systems.

. Good understanding of engineering fundamentals

. Knowledge of avionics systems

. Knowledge of system design and V&V activities

. Knowledge of regulatory requirements (from FAA/EASA) on avionics systems

. Knowledge of communication protocols such as ARINC 429/AFDX/MIL STD 1553B etc

. Knowledge of Python and MATLAB Simulink

Required Soft Skills:

. Ability to work independently and in a team environment

. Strong interpersonal and communication skills

. Flexibility and Adaptability to work in multiple activities

. Strong problem solving and logical thinking ability
