Job Description

A Day at MKS

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 Support Engineer to provide technical support, administration, and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 services. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and optimal performance of M365 applications while delivering excellent end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 support for Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Azure AD.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email flow, mailbox management, Teams collaboration, and M365 applications
  • Manage user accounts, licenses, and security settings in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Configure and maintain mail flow, transport rules, retention policies, and compliance features
  • Support hybrid environments (On-Prem Exchange + Exchange Online)
  • Monitor service health and respond to incidents and outages
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs
  • Work with Microsoft Support for escalations when required
  • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration
  • Expertise in Exchange Online (mailbox management, mail flow, troubleshooting)
  • Good knowledge of Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive
  • Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access
  • Understanding of PowerShell for M365 administration
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Defender, Compliance Center, Intune(perferred)
  • Experience in ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
  • 25 years of experience in M365 / Cloud Support roles
  • Microsoft certifications (MS-900, MS-102, or equivalent) are a plus

  • Strong customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in shifts or on-call support if required
