System Support Executive – IT Support & Infrastructure

About the Role

Binated is looking for a skilled and proactive System Support Executive with 1–3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or system administration. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT systems, resolving technical issues, supporting network connectivity, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations across the organization.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on troubleshooting experience, working knowledge of Active Directory and firewall configuration, and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, update, and maintain Windows, Linux, and macOS systems.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and basic network-related issues.
• Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions using Active Directory.
• Provide basic administration and troubleshooting support for Sophos Firewall, including rules and security policies.
• Perform software installations, system upgrades, patch management, and security updates.
• Support Microsoft Office, design applications, and other business software.
• Monitor and respond to IT helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, technical documentation, and support records.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, software issues, and maintenance activities.
• Follow IT security practices and help minimize downtime across business operations.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, System Support, or Helpdesk Operations.
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Basic networking knowledge, including LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and user access management.
• Basic understanding of firewalls, preferably Sophos Firewall.
• Experience with Windows operating systems; familiarity with Linux and macOS is an advantage.
• Knowledge of system installation, configuration, maintenance, and security updates.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and business/design applications.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts and from the office five days a week, as per company requirements.
