Analyze systemlevel customer and internal requirements and convert them into clear system specifications, architecture definitions, and technical design inputs for software and hardware teams.
Define and refine system architecture, including interfaces, data flows, diagnostics, safety concepts, and communication frameworks for automotive ECUs.
Develop and maintain system requirement specifications (SRS), interface control documents (ICDs), system design documents, and system validation plans aligned with ASPICE and automotive quality processes.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams (software, hardware, validation, safety, cybersecurity, and product engineering) to ensure cohesive system integration and endtoend functionality.
Analyze communication protocols and system behavior, including CAN, SPI, UDS, and other automotive network interactions, ensuring system-level consistency and performance.
Support system integration activities, including debugging, issue reproduction, rootcause analysis, and solution proposals across multiple subsystems.
Ensure traceability from system requirements to design, implementation, and validation using tools like Codebeamer, DOORS, or equivalent.
Participate in safety and cybersecurity assessments, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262, secure system design principles, and relevant cybersecurity guidelines.
Review work products (requirements, design, test specifications) for system completeness, correctness, and alignment with project goals.
Support customer discussions, technical workshops, and requirement clarification sessions.
Support on RFQ
Drive continuous improvement of system engineering methods, tools, and processes.
What Will You Bring
System/Requirements years of relevant experience in system engineering, embedded systems, or automotive ECU development.
Strong understanding of system architecture, system requirements engineering, and interface design for automotive applications.
Solid knowledge of automotive communication protocols including CAN, SPI, and diagnostics such as UDS.
Good understanding of embedded software and hardware interaction, microcontroller fundamentals, and systemlevel constraints.
Familiarity with AUTOSAR concepts, ECU architecture, and integration principles (good to have)
System testing experience will be an added advantage.
Experience with requirement management, version control, and analysis tools such as Codebeamer, DOORS, GIT, Enterprise Architect, PTC, or similar.
Understanding of ISO 26262 (functional safety) and cybersecurity principles, with experience in creating or reviewing safetyrelated system artifacts.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to investigate crossdomain system issues.
Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholdermanagement skills.
Ability to work in structured, processdriven automotive environments aligned with ASPICE and quality frameworks.
