Responsibilities
System Requirement Engineer:
- Build the Product System Requirement Specification
- Work together with the team members of all departments: Test engineers, Software Engineers, Hardware engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Requirements Management Engineer, etc.
- Ensure requirements completion as per plan in agreement with the stakeholders (e.g. Software Team Leader, Hardware Team Leader, Mechanical Team Leader, System Test Leader, ...)
- Analyze the requirements assigned, clarify unclear requirements.
- Atomize and derive System Requirements based on the accepted Stakeholder requirements.
- Identify whether requirements are functional or non-functional and possible environmental impact
- Resolve Requirement Defects
- Impact analysis of Product Change Requests from Customer
- Definition of System Safety Requirements (derived from Functional Safety Concept), including necessary Safety Mechanisms and Safe States.
- Traceability at System-level work products related to functional safety
- Definition of System Cybersecurity Requirements (derived from Cybersecurity Concept).
- Traceability at System-level work products related to cybersecurity
