Job Description

Summary:

The System Integration Tester (SIT) plays a critical role in ensuring the successful functioning of various integrated automotive systems by executing test plans that adhere to quality, delivery, and cost objectives. This position serves as a key component within the System Integration Area, ensuring that complex automotive systems operate seamlessly together.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct system integration tests for all components (HW, Mechanics, Optics, SW, Calibration) as defined by the system architecture.
  • Create and execute integration test patterns according to established strategies and standards.
  • Design and review test cases for hardware-software interfaces based on system architecture requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Technical Safety Concepts/System Requirements (ISO 26262).
  • Define an automation test strategy utilizing an internal test automation environment.
  • Review System Architecture Design from a testability perspective.
  • Maintain requirement traceability to ensure coverage in integration test cases.
  • Generate test reports in accordance with company standards.
  • Open and track system integration defects to successful closure.
  • Determine required test environments and instrumentation for test execution.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
  • 4-6 years of experience with Infotainment System, Cluster, or ADAS Validation.
  • Solid understanding of automotive systems including hardware, software, mechanics, and diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of ASPICE, Agile methodologies, and compliance with ISO26262.
  • Ability to synthesize technical planning issues.
  • Experience with Oscilloscope, Pico-scope, and multi-meters.
  • Capability to analyze hardware schematics.
  • Familiarity with Requirements Management Tools (e.g., ALM, Interenterprise Architect), Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence).
  • Hands-on experience with Vector Canoe toolchain.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in a Scrum team within Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Experience with ASPICE SYS4 & SYS5.
  • Exposure to System Integration Testing processes.
