System Engineering_Functional development

1. First point of contact for the responsible function in organisation worldwide

2. Specifies the platform System and SW level requirements and verification criteria for the function

3. Decides the test environment on which the requirements need to be tested

4. Designs the system architecture for the function at system level with interfaces to SW,HW and Mechanical contributions

Liaisons with component architects to decide the interfaces and separation of concerns

Qualifications Professional & personal requirements

1. Degree in engineering - Mechanical/Electronics background

2. Knowledge in SYSML and use case based function development.

3. Knowledge in Automotive Embedded system and RTOS

4. Knowledge in Requirement elicitation and management

5. Knowledge in model based development. e.g. MATLAB

Ability to think at different levels of abstraction eg. System , SW , Subsystem , Vehicle
