System Engineer

Job Role: Automotive Systems Engineer

Experience: 7+ Years

Location: Pune

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage system requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation.
• Design and develop API specifications using Swagger/OpenAPI (YAML).
• Validate and debug APIs using Postman.
• Work on Cloud-to-Cloud integration and connected vehicle architectures.
• Collaborate with software, cloud, validation, and integration teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Perform system integration, diagnostics, and troubleshooting using CANoe and diagnostic trace analysis.
• Support software architecture, requirement decomposition, and verification activities.
• Create system design documents, architecture diagrams, interface definitions, and technical specifications.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Automotive System Engineering.
• Strong experience in Automotive Telematics or Connected Vehicle Systems.
• Hands-on experience with Swagger/OpenAPI (YAML).
• Experience debugging APIs using Postman.
• Strong experience in Requirements Engineering and Technical Specification writing.
• Experience with Cloud-to-Cloud Integration.
• Hands-on experience with CANoe and diagnostic trace analysis.
• Good understanding of Software Architecture, System Design, and Verification & Validation.
• Experience with JIRA and Agile development methodologies.
